The Bluestrait Mid Lady ES is a secure winter boot with slip-resistant grip. The reinforced grip inserts made of fiberglass integrated into the Fiberbrake outsole ensure that its load-bearing areas provide a unique level of grip. The specially developed winter rubber compound remains soft, flexible, and adherent in sub-zero temperatures. Additionally, the aggressive sole pattern on the outer edges of the soles offers excellent traction on powdery snow or in mud. The 3D IPU midsole construction ensures a perfect fit and allows your foot to roll efficiently for a smooth stride. Its three-dimensional structure is made of stabilising injected polyurethane (IPU) and expanded polyurethane (PU). The raised edge of the sole provides better support on all sides and at the heel. To ensure your feet stay dry, the Bluestrait Mid Lady ES features a PU membrane that is PFC-free with a sturdy three-layer laminated construction. The upper's exterior has an additional PFC-free waterproof finish, and its soft inner lining fabric is made from 70% recycled polyester. The comfortable, breathable insole is made from a combination of merino wool (non-mulesing) which inhibits odours, and fully recycled PU foam made from offcuts. Durable and resource-efficient, we combine high-quality Perwanger suede leather with terracare® nubuck leather from the Josef Heinen tannery and a 100% recycled upper fabric.
