During frequent and prolonged meditations, a meditation mat is very useful as it protects the knees, feet, and ankles from pressure points and cold.

Creates the perfect space for meditation
The Zabuton mat defines the meditation space and thus creates an area for your practice in calm and tranquillity. Filled with high-quality cotton padding, pressure point-friendly (kbA). Our mats are made from several layers of high-quality organic cotton padding, making them easy to roll up, shape-stable, and completely free from pressure points.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STANDARD & COMFORT:

Zabuton Standard: This 80 x 75 cm Zabuton has a seat height of about 4 cm and weighs approximately 2.5 kg. The cotton padding is a bit thinner and thus lighter than that of the Comfort version of our meditation mat. The lighter weight makes it more manageable while still providing comfortable support during your meditation. This can be handy if you want to take your Zabuton with you while travelling or on a retreat.

Zabuton Comfort: This 80 x 75 cm Zabuton has a seat height of around 7 cm and weighs about 3.5 kg. The cotton padding is denser and heavier than that of the Zabuton Standard. You sit more softly on this version - this is particularly suitable for those who meditate for long periods or simply want a bit more support.

We chose to use a uniform cover size for both the STANDARD and COMFORT variants of the Zabuton and only vary the thickness and weight of the padding. The advantage is that we can offer several variants and all covers fit both variants.

If you own several Zabutons of different versions, you can interchange the covers.

Please note: The Zabuton Comfort does not correspond to our old Zabuton Deluxe. The thickness and volume are identical for both variants, but the outer dimensions of our ZB Comfort (75x80cm) are slightly smaller than those of the ZB Deluxe (80x85cm).
