During frequent and prolonged meditation, a meditation mat is very useful as it protects the knees, feet, and ankles from pressure points and cold.

Creates the perfect space for meditation
The Zabuton defines the meditation area and thus creates a space for your practice in calm and tranquility. Filled with high-quality cotton padding that respects pressure points (kbA). Our mats are made from several layers of high-quality organic cotton padding, making them easy to roll, stable in shape, and completely free from pressure points.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STANDARD & COMFORT:

Zabuton Standard: This Zabuton measuring 80 x 75 cm has a seat height of about 4 cm and weighs around 2.5 kg. The cotton padding is slightly thinner and therefore lighter than that of the Comfort version of our meditation mat. Its lighter weight makes it more manageable, while still providing comfortable support during your meditation. This can be handy if you want to take your Zabuton on a trip or a retreat.

Zabuton Comfort: This Zabuton measuring 80 x 75 cm has a seat height of about 7 cm and weighs around 3.5 kg. The cotton padding is more compact and heavier than that of the Zabuton Standard. You sit more softly on this version - it's particularly suited for those who meditate for long periods or simply want a bit more support.

We have chosen to use a uniform cover size for both variants of Zabuton STANDARD and COMFORT, only varying the thickness and weight of the padding. The advantage is that we can offer several variants and that all the covers fit both variants.

If you own multiple Zabutons of different versions, you can interchange the covers between them.

Please note: The Zabuton Comfort does not match our old Zabuton Deluxe. The thickness and volume are the same for both variants, but the outer dimensions of our ZB Comfort (75x80cm) are slightly smaller than those of the ZB Deluxe (80x85cm).
