The Bluestrait Mid ES is a winter boot designed for safety with anti-slip grip. Reinforced grip inserts made of fiberglass are integrated into the Fiberbrake sole to ensure that its load zones provide a unique level of traction. The specially developed winter rubber compound remains flexible and adheres well at temperatures below zero. Additionally, the aggressive sole pattern on the outer edges of the soles offers excellent traction on snow or mud. The construction of the IPU 3D midsole guarantees a perfect fit and allows the foot to roll efficiently for a smooth outing. Its three-dimensional structure is made of stabilising injected polyurethane (IPU) and expanded polyurethane (PU). The raised edge of the sole provides better support all around and at the heel. To keep your feet dry, the Bluestrait Mid ES features a PFC-free PU membrane with a robust three-layer laminated construction. The upper material has an additional PFC-free waterproof treatment, and its soft inner lining fabric is composed of 70% recycled polyester. The comfortable and breathable insole is made from a blend of merino wool (non-mulesed) that inhibits odours and fully recycled PU foam made from leftovers. Durable and resource-saving, we combine high-quality natural Perwanger suede with terracare® nubuck leather from the Josef Heinen tannery and a 100% recycled upper fabric.
