The Vibram Five Fingers brand is more than recognized in the world of barefoot footwear thanks to the finger shoes they pioneered. And more concretely they had a great success with their model for trail, the Five Fingers Spyridon, which are now replaced by the Five Fingers VTrail.

The V-Trail offers the following improvements over the Spyridon MR:

• Vibram® 3D Cocoon technology in the sole, which now extends up to the toes, covering the entire sole, to further protect them from shock and disperse impact with the ground.
• Multi-directional studs for better grip on all types of terrain and in dry or wet weather.
• MegaGrip technology is integrated into the sole for better grip.
• New design that makes the whole assembly less rigid, facilitating a minimalist stride.
• Micro-perforated polyester and Spandex fabric is softer and more breathable making the shoe even more minimalist.

A common feature of minimalist sneakers, they keep a thin sole (7 mm in total, like the Five Fingers Spyridon) to ensure excellent proprioception.
